About Artists of Mallorca

Artists of Mallorca...Created in 2020 by Sharon MacLaren as the home of art and artists on the island of Mallorca, allowing  artists to have their own voice and to speak directly to art lovers.

 

Deliberately open, all types of art are displayed, and artists are invited to use the Artists Information page to submit their work and be included. Contact sharon@artistsofmallorca.com for further information.

 

In June a group exhibition is held annually in Port de Soller, Mallorca, with support from the Ayuntamiento de Soller.  This year the event took place on 24-25 June.  2022 was the first year of the Artists of Mallorca Art Prize, with the final held in Can Prunera, Soller, Mallorca.  This 2023 competition was won by Claudia Keupen, huge congratulations to her! The finalists  can be seen on the Finalists 2023 page.

Sharon was born and educated in Scotland, and worked in fashion for over 25 years, before deciding to concentrate on painting.  Having split their time for many years between East London and Mallorca, she and her husband decided to move permanently to Soller.

Artists of Mallorca is very much a work in progress, building the network of artists and art life.
