Can Prunera 27.8.22

This has been an incredibly busy summer for ArtistofMallorca.com, with the first exhibition and now the final of the first Art Prize just around the corner. The organisation is all more or less in place, and we are looking forward to seeing the finalists' work in real life for the first time, and celebrating the winner.

It has been fantastic to see the amount of support and standard of the work that has come in, so thank you to each of the artists who took the time to enter. Judging has now started, and it is a difficult time for the judges who have to decide who will be in the final. These decisions are not taken lightly, and it is sad to not be able to have everyone showing their work in the wonderful surroundings of Can Prunera Museu Modernista in Soller.

Can Prunera have kindly decided to open their doors during the time of the final, which will be from 12.00 until 14.00 on Saturday 27.8, so everyone can come and see the final and visit the museum for free. It really is well worth a visit in it's own right, and, hopefully we can attract lots of people to see the final.

For the 20 selected finalists, good luck and enjoy showing your work in such prestigious surroundings.
