Finalists Exhibition & 'Elección Popular'

The Finalists Exhibition got underway on 2 August, with an inauguration in the Museu de Soller.

It was lovely to have so many people come along to see the work that was chosen to be in the final, and to get the voting underway in the Elección Popular. The vote remains open until the 15 of August, so be sure to go along to the Museum to cast your vote. You can see all of the entries on ArtistsofMallorca.com

Each visitor to the exhibition receives a token to go in the tin of their favourite art work, so don't miss your chance to vote.

The winner of the Art Prize will be decided by the jury, Natalia Spitale, Miguel Angel Delgado and Silvia Fau, who will visit the exhibition to see the works and discuss the merits of each. As with previous years, this is not going to be easy, and I am very glad to not have to choose!

On 16 August at 20.00, we have the Grand Final, when the winners of Elección Popular and the Art Prize will be announced. Everyone is invited to come along and help to celebrate with all of the artists who made it to the final, and, of course, the winners.

The Soller Nit de l'Art is on 17 August, and the exhibition will be open from 19.00 - 23.00 to participate, a last chance to see all of the finalist works together.
