Inauguration Ceremony

Yesterday saw the town of Soller showing their appreciation for the work of Natalia Spitale, creator of the fabulous mural in the Placa de les Teixidores. It was great to see the mayor, Carlos Simarro, and Tourism councillor, Sebastia Aguilo, looking so delighted with the work. There was a lot of praise for Natalia in their speeches and a genuine hope that both visitors and residents would enjoy seeing it, and realise that it represents Soller as a charming and welcoming town. There was talk of postcards being created, and other memorabilia, which would be nice to have as souvenirs.

Perhaps in future, when people talk about the train, tram and bank of Soller, the mural will also be mentioned as a major attraction.
