Inspiration

Lots of people have been talking about visiting parts of Mallorca that they wouldn't normally go to at this time of the year, due to the roads being too busy, or there being too many people there, so I decided to go to visit Sa Calobra, having never been there before. The road was really quiet, and for me, it was a spectacular drive, with incredible scenery, huge rock formations and the sea. Arriving in Sa Calobra, I decided to keep walking to get to Torrent de Pareis, and was met with a view that I recognised, and at first I couldn't think why, then I remembered the painting by Manuel Cuevas , and I was struck by how my lens changed, and I could then only see the painting! I'm going to have a go at my own version. Mallorca is full of fascinating places, and art, and I wondered what was inspiring everyone else. I'd love to hear about it!
